What We Believe
Scripture is the very word of God.
2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”
2 Peter 1:20-21 “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.”

What We Confess
Many People today claim that confessions divide. We believe doctrine (another way to say biblical teaching) unites us as believers. We have a common conviction about many of the Bible's teachings. These convictions are explained in what we call our “Three Forms of Unity”. The Three Forms of Unity is a collective name for the Belgic Confession, the Canons of Dort, and the Heidelberg Catechism which are accepted as official statements of doctrine by many of the Reformed churches.
Our Community
At Bethany United Reformed Church our first priority is to glorify God. Second, we are committed to strengthen one another in our faith. We are confident that God's Word is true. It is the foundation of what we believe. We also learn from God's Word how we are to live. We are an active church. We are thankful for the various organizations that seek to fulfill the purposes of our lives.
